Sr Associate - Transaction Services

Overview

Sr Associate - Transaction Services supports clients on financial, operational, and tax issues related to M&A transactions, including due diligence, reporting analytics, and deal-related workstreams.

What you'll do

• Use financial acumen and accounting standards knowledge (GAAP) to support M&A transaction issues.
• Conduct and review research and analysis on financial and accounting topics for business transactions.
• Assist with quality of earnings and networking capital analysis for buy- and sell-side deals.
• Participate in executive management interviews with target companies.
• Draft sections of reports, presentations, and other client-facing deliverables.
• Collaborate with project teams to manage workstreams and meet deadlines.
• Provide coaching and guidance to junior team members.

What you'll need

• Hold a CPA/Chartered Accountant, MBA Finance, or a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting.
• Have 2-4 years of relevant transaction experience.
• Experience analyzing a target company’s quality of earnings (EBITDA), networking capital, and cash flows.
• Advanced Excel skills including SUMIF, SUMIFS, VLOOKUP, INDEXMATCH.
