Custody Services, Associate 2

Overview

Associate 2 role in State Street's Custody Services team within State Street Global Services, handling trade processing exceptions and time-critical client service inquiries across functional teams.

What you'll do

• Rectify trade instruction errors stuck in GTM/IIP (such as missing SSIs or reference data elements like broker code and fund set-up) and push them into the Custody & Accounting platform (MCH).
• Work on time-critical incoming inquiries across functional TS teams as a single point of contact for client service.
• Engage with business leads and peers and interface with senior leaders across the organization.
• Build strong internal and external relationships and ensure service quality and customer satisfaction.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in commerce, BBA, MBA Finance or MCom.
• 1+ years of experience in Financial Services Industry.
• Strong time management and organizational skills; ability to multitask in a challenging environment.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, facilitation, presentation and negotiation skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in trade capture/trade settlement, SWIFT messages, cash/payment processing, and telephonic interaction with brokers/custodians.
