Custom Software Engineer

Overview

Design, code and enhance custom software components across systems or applications, using modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs.

What you'll do

• Act as a subject matter expert, collaborate with and manage the team to deliver work.
• Take responsibility for team decisions and contribute to key decisions across multiple teams.
• Provide solutions to problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead the implementation of best practices to improve software quality and delivery timelines.
• Mentor junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure technical solutions align with business goals.

What you'll need

• Minimum 7.5 years of experience is required.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Microsoft Azure PaaS.
• 15 years full time education is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Azure PaaS.
• Experience with cloud-native application development and deployment on the Microsoft Azure platform.
• Strong understanding of platform-as-a-service components including app services, functions, and logic apps.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies within Azure environments.
• Ability to design scalable and secure cloud solutions tailored to business requirements.
• Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines in Azure DevOps.
