Custom Software Engineer

Overview

Automation Test Engineer role focused on designing and maintaining UI and API test automation frameworks, ensuring high-quality software delivery through effective testing and CI/CD integration.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and reusable automation frameworks for web applications and APIs.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and technical testing, identifying, tracking, and resolving defects.
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, and cross-functional teams to support continuous testing and CI/CD initiatives.
• Create and maintain test documentation, test strategies, and execution reports.
• Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance on automation best practices.

What you'll need

• Minimum 5 years of experience is required.
• 15 years full time education.
• Minimum 4+ years of experience in Automation Testing with strong expertise in web and API automation.
• Hands-on experience in Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber BDD, Rest Assured, Postman, and Core Java.
• Strong understanding of automation framework development, test design patterns, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with source control, build, and deployment tools in Agile development environments.
• Ability to analyze logs, troubleshoot issues, and debug applications effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as an individual contributor while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and solving issues proactively.

• Automation Framework Development, Maven, Karate Framework, Bobcat, Azure, Kubernetes.

Details

• Must be based in Pune or willing to relocate.
• Work from the Hinjewadi client location 3 days per week.
• Shift timing from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM.
