Custom Software Engineer

Overview

Design, develop and maintain tailored software solutions that enhance system components, with a focus on SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) customizations in an agile environment.

What you'll do

• Design, code and enhance custom software components across systems or applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Maintain and improve existing software applications to enhance functionality and user experience.
• Document development processes and communicate project progress and challenges clearly.
• Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and assisting with technical challenges.
• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Actively participate and contribute in team discussions and provide solutions to work-related problems.

What you'll need

• Proficiency in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD).
• Strong knowledge of software development life cycle and agile methodologies.
• Experience in customizing and configuring SAP modules to meet business requirements.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within SAP environments.
• Familiarity with integration techniques between SAP and other enterprise systems.
• Good understanding of database concepts and data flow within SAP applications.
• 15 years full time education.
