Custom Software Engineer

Overview

Design, build and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements, acting as a subject-matter expert on Oracle EBS Financials and leading a team.

What you'll do

• Act as an SME, collaborate with and manage the team to perform
• Take responsibility for team decisions
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions
• Provide solutions to problems for the immediate team and across multiple teams
• Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and quality
• Mentor junior team members by providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth
• Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment of project goals and timely delivery
• Analyze business processes and translate them into technical specifications for software development
• Customize and configure Oracle EBS applications to meet complex business requirements
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Oracle EBS Financials in a production environment

What you'll need

• 15 years full time education
• Minimum 7.5 years of experience in Oracle EBS Financials
• Must have: proficiency in Oracle EBS Financials
• Strong knowledge of financial modules within Oracle EBS and their integration with other enterprise systems
• Experience in customizing and configuring Oracle EBS applications to meet complex business requirements
• Ability to analyze business processes and translate them into technical specifications
• Familiarity with troubleshooting and resolving Oracle EBS Financials issues in a production environment
• Competence in collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive software solutions
