Custom Software Engineer

Overview

As a Custom Software Engineer, design and develop tailored software solutions that enhance system components and applications. Work with cross-functional teams through iterative development cycles to deliver scalable, efficient software products aligned with business requirements and user needs.

What you'll do

• Develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications.
• Use modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs.
• Collaborate with and manage the team to perform as a subject matter expert.
• Make team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
• Lead the coordination of project tasks to ensure timely delivery and quality standards.
• Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.
• Facilitate communication between stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of scalable and efficient software products.
• Participate in iterative development cycles to meet evolving business requirements and improve overall system performance.

What you'll need

• Minimum 12 year(s) of experience.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in SAP S/4HANA Embedded Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (EPPDS).
• 15 years full time education.
• Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA Embedded Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (EPPDS).
• Proficiency in SAP PP Production Planning & Control Discrete Industries.
• Strong knowledge of production planning processes and their integration within enterprise resource planning systems.
• Experience in customizing and enhancing SAP modules to meet specific operational requirements.
• Ability to analyze complex business scenarios and translate them into effective software solutions.
• Familiarity with agile software development practices and modern programming frameworks.
• Competence in troubleshooting and optimizing system performance in production environments.
