Staff Software Engineer (C++ & Web development)

Overview

Staff Software Engineer focused on C++ high-performance execution engines, 3D visualization/virtual patient modeling, and modern web UI development.

What you'll do

• Design and build core execution engines and performance-critical modules in C++.
• Render anatomical environments and volumetric DICOM datasets using VTK/ITK and 3D modeling tools.
• Develop responsive web-based interfaces with React and JavaScript.
• Implement modular/distributed architectures including SOA, microservices, and Web APIs with cloud and database platforms.
• Ensure regulatory rigor across the full stack using IEC 62304/FDA compliance and ALM tools for traceability while maintaining HIPAA-compliant patient data security.
• Create architecture diagrams, estimate sprint tasks, and resolve runtime defects using root-cause analysis.

What you'll need

• Onsite work.
• 6+ years required in C++ for high-performance application development.
• 10+ years of work experience with a related degree in Software Engineering/Computer Science or similar.
• Experience with object-oriented design patterns and multi-threaded systems in modern C++.
• Experience with SOA, microservices, and Web APIs using client-side frameworks (Angular/React/JavaScript) (preferred stated).
• Ability to apply medical imaging technologies such as DICOM, VTK, and ITK (preferred stated).
• Hands-on knowledge of integration, build automation, and deployment pipelines (preferred stated).
