Digital Technology Experienced Professional - Software Engineering

Overview

As an FPGA Design Engineer within the Digital Solutions Team, you will design, verify and test system modules for real-time condition-monitoring systems used in the energy sector.

What you'll do

• Provide design and verification, release testing or beta support for complex software solutions that drive business value.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build relationships and create efficient, cost effective and scalable design solutions.
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to translate requirements into project or product design documentation.
• Take responsibility for specific aspects of assigned projects.
• Lead and contribute within Agile/Scrum development frameworks, partnering with hardware, firmware, software, and systems teams to plan, develop, verify, and deliver FPGA solutions aligned with sprint objectives and product roadmaps.

What you'll need

• Proven engineering experience of 10 -12 years within an engineering environment.
• A Bachelors' /Masters degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
• Experience on various FPGA modules on Xilinx, Altera, x86, mips & arm targets.
• Experience with FPGA based systems.
• Good logic design concepts and computer design.
• Proficiency in Verilog and VHDL.
• Exposure to industry simulators.
• Expertise in front end RTL design flow steps like lint, CDC, STA etc.
• Excellent Code debug skills.
