Custom Software Engineering Lead

Overview

Lead the technical direction, architecture, and delivery of custom software and cloud-native platform solutions. The role focuses on AWS infrastructure, Kubernetes platform engineering, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, reliability, security, and operational excellence.

What you'll do

• Own AWS infrastructure and Kubernetes platform architecture, including networking, scaling, and deployment strategies.
• Design Terraform and Ansible standards, reusable modules, governance processes, and automation.
• Build and maintain enterprise CI/CD pipeline architectures with security and quality controls.
• Lead Kubernetes lifecycle management, upgrades, security, scalability, and production operations.
• Drive reliability, disaster recovery, incident analysis, cost optimization, and platform modernization initiatives.
• Mentor engineers and serve as a technical point of contact for client stakeholders.

What you'll need

• At least 5 years of experience.
• 7–10 years of relevant experience in DevOps, platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, or SRE.
• At least 4 years of hands-on production experience with Terraform.
• Advanced Ansible and Infrastructure as Code automation experience.
• Enterprise-scale AWS and Kubernetes platform experience.
• Experience designing CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native platform architectures.
• 15 years of full-time education.

Nice to have

• Experience with OTT, streaming, broadcast, or digital media platforms.
• Experience with progressive delivery, service mesh, FinOps, observability, or compliance frameworks.
• Preferred certifications such as AWS DevOps Engineer Professional, CKA, CKS, or Terraform Associate.
