Sr Associate Software Engineer Cloud Platform DevOps

Overview

Own and improve cloud platform and production-reliability components for cloud-native supply chain applications. Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, supportable, and production-ready solutions.

What you'll do

• Operate AWS cloud environments and Kubernetes workloads, including Amazon EKS.
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines for testing, scanning, deployment, promotion, and rollback.
• Automate infrastructure and configuration with Terraform, CloudFormation, Helm, or comparable tools.
• Implement observability through logs, metrics, traces, dashboards, alerts, and health indicators.
• Manage IAM, secrets, certificates, network controls, vulnerabilities, upgrades, and security remediation.
• Lead incident response, service restoration, root-cause analysis, and reliability improvements.
• Maintain architecture documentation, deployment procedures, runbooks, and operational standards.

What you'll need

• 5–9 years of experience in cloud engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, SRE, or software engineering.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent relevant field.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code.
• Experience with Helm or comparable Kubernetes packaging and configuration tools.
• Knowledge of IAM, role-based access, secrets, certificates, networking, and least-privilege controls.
• Experience with monitoring, incident management, root-cause analysis, and production support.
• Ability to automate operational tasks using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar scripting languages.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS services including ECR, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC, and CloudWatch.
• Experience with PostgreSQL/RDS availability, backup, recovery, and performance.
• Experience with Databricks, MLflow, OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, or Splunk.
• Experience with regulated industries, resilience testing, SLOs/SLIs, or cloud cost optimization.
• Relevant AWS or Certified Kubernetes Administrator certification.
