Custom Software Engineering Lead

Overview

Custom Software Engineering Lead who owns the technical direction and architecture of custom software solutions, leading teams through design and delivery in SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP).

What you'll do

• Lead the development and implementation of technical strategies to meet project objectives.
• Set development standards and ensure code quality, scalability, and performance aligned to business objectives.
• Mentor and support team members to enhance their skills and professional growth.
• Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment and timely delivery of software solutions.
• Lead technical design reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Implement and configure SAP IBP Order-Based Planning, covering Response and Supply.
• Design and optimize supply planning processes using heuristics and/or optimizer solutions.
• Manage IBP master data, planning models, and integration with SAP S/4HANA/ECC.
• Analyze and resolve supply planning and order fulfillment issues.
• Lead business workshops, testing, and user training activities.
• Drive continuous improvement and adoption of SAP IBP capabilities within the OBP space.

What you'll need

• Must have: proficiency in SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP).
• 15 years full time education.
• Strong knowledge of software architecture principles and best practices for scalable solutions.
• Experience in setting and enforcing coding standards and quality assurance processes.
• Ability to lead technical design reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Familiarity with performance optimization techniques and troubleshooting complex software issues.
