Customer-Focused Software Engineer (Backend development team)

Overview

Backend Software Engineer focused on investigating and resolving customer-reported production issues, improving reliability and customer experience.

What you'll do

• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex customer-reported issues in production environments.
• Analyze logs, debug backend services, and perform root-cause investigations across distributed systems.
• Develop bug fixes, enhancements, and stability improvements for backend services and APIs.
• Work directly with customers to understand their environments, technical challenges, and business needs.
• Collaborate with Support, QA, Product Management, and Engineering to drive fast issue resolution.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement of development processes.

What you'll need

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in backend software development.
• Hands-on experience or academic background in backend programming using Python and/or Java.
• Basic understanding of backend services and distributed systems concepts.
• Familiarity with backend architectures, REST APIs, and database interactions.
• Knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Basic understanding of Git and CI/CD concepts.
