Data Analyst

Overview

Data Analyst role on Headout’s data team, building reports, dashboards, and automations that support company decision-making across teams.

What you'll do

• Build reports, dashboards, and automations for decision support.
• Work with senior analysts and leadership on analytics projects.
• Analyze areas that may include growth and marketing, product, operations, and supply-side problems.
• Understand how the marketplace works and why key metrics move.
• Ship meaningful work quickly and own workstreams within the first few months.

What you'll need

• 1–3 years of experience in an analytics, BI, or data science role.
• Strong SQL skills, including complex joins, window functions, and CTEs.
• Ability to debug slow queries.
• Working knowledge of Python for data manipulation, automation, or analysis.
• Hands-on experience with at least one BI tool (Metabase, Looker, Tableau, or Power BI).

Nice to have

• Exposure to dbt, Airflow, or similar tools.
• Basic understanding of data warehousing concepts.
• Bonus exposure to marketplace/e-commerce or consumer tech.
