Overview
A Data Analyst gathers, analyzes, and solves problems related to data types, relationships, and business/IT data within data and IT systems. The role focuses on turning complex data into actionable insights for business decision-making.
What you'll do
- Extract, analyze, and interpret complex datasets using Microsoft Azure services to derive insights.
- Develop and maintain data models using Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure SQL Database.
- Create interactive dashboards and reports with Power BI, Spotfire, and Tableau for stakeholders.
- Use Azure Data Lake to support efficient data storage, retrieval, and data consistency/quality.
- Utilize Microsoft Power Platform to automate processes and build data-driven workflows.
- Implement data quality checks and data governance practices to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Mentor junior data analysts and share best practices for analysis and visualization.
What you'll need
- 4-7 years of experience in data analysis, data visualization, or related fields.
- Advanced proficiency in Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake, and Azure SQL Database.
- Expertise in Power BI, Spotfire, and Tableau for dashboards and reports.
- Strong SQL skills for querying, transforming, and analyzing data.
- Experience with Power Platform including Power Automate and Power Apps for automated workflows.
- Experience creating and maintaining data models for analytics and reporting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication to present insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Details
- Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
- Standard work week is Monday to Friday.
- Working hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm or 1:30pm to 10:30pm.
