Data Analyst

Overview

Support end-to-end data operations for corporate transactions, including sourcing, validating, enriching, and delivering structured datasets under established procedures.

What you'll do

• Research and collect transaction data from filings, regulatory documents, press releases, and financial disclosures.
• Validate, tag, load, cleanse, and enrich data using prescribed checks and methodologies.
• Analyze M&A, capital market, and restructuring events to create structured datasets and insights.
• Meet individual and team targets for data accuracy and timeliness.
• Use analytics, AI, and GenAI tools to automate extraction, summarization, and normalization.
• Contribute to UAT and process improvement initiatives.

What you'll need

• 1–3 years of relevant experience in data operations, research, or related roles, including internships.
• Graduate degree in BBA, B.Com, or BMS.
• Postgraduate or MBA qualification with Finance as the major specialization.
• Beginner knowledge of SQL and Excel for querying, filtering, and reconciliation.
• Ability to interpret filings, vendor feeds, news, and other source materials.
• Strong attention to detail and operational discipline.

Nice to have

• Experience with mergers, acquisitions, IPOs, fixed income offerings, follow-on offerings, or related capital market activities.
• Awareness of automation and GenAI tools.
