Data Analyst

Overview

As a Data Analyst at Portcast, you will ensure the quality and correctness of data used for predictions in a real-time transportation visibility platform.

What you'll do

• Own data quality for the models and customer-shared datasets.
• Ensure ingested data into the models is error-free and high quality.
• Investigate anomalies by tracing them to their real source.
• Fix underlying processes so anomalies do not recur.
• Collaborate with Data Science, Engineering, Product, and Commercial teams.
• Report directly to the Analytics Manager.

• Work with data-heavy product environments providing end-to-end cargo visibility.
• Chase and trace anomalies to their root source.
• Fix processes to prevent repeat issues.
• Have curiosity as a key trait for the team.
