Data Analyst, Structured Data Services, APAC

Overview

The Data Analyst supports the Structured Data Services Team Lead on active projects, understanding client requirements, reviewing documents, and identifying, gathering, analyzing, and extracting relevant data.

What you'll do

• Analyze documents and extract content based on project specifications using Excel and other file types.
• Collaborate closely with the Team Lead to receive the latest updates and instructions on projects and develop relationships within the immediate team.
• Perform data cleansing or format extracted data using formulas, manual methods, or programming tools.
• Conduct audits on assigned projects.
• Follow established procedures and methods to solve problems.
• Identify correlations, issues and patterns through data mining.
• Provide data into comprehensible structures for organizing and transforming information.
• Identify the timing and indicators of data access based on the analysis.
• Maintain integrity in analysis and quality on projects.
• Manage multiple projects daily and meet project targets consistently.
• Report any difficulties and observed patterns to the Senior Data Analyst II or Team Lead.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager.

What you'll need

• Basic understanding of document analysis, especially in data breach review.
• Knowledge of Advanced Excel and basic other Microsoft applications (such as Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working in a team environment.
• Flexible, adaptable, responsive, and positive.
• High School and 10+ years related experience, or Associate's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Management, or Statistics and 2-4 years of Data Analyst experience, or Bachelor's Degree and 0-1 years related experience.
• Ability to work greater than 40 hours per week as needed.
• Basic understanding of ETL frameworks.

Nice to have

• Experience with Macro coding.
• Knowledge and/or experience with a common scripting or programming language, including Power Query and Python.
• Data analytical certifications.
• Bachelor's degree.
