Overview

Data Architect role in Genpact's Data Engineering practice, responsible for creating and maintaining the architecture for big data systems to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and reliability.

What you'll do

• Develop and implement data strategies for large-scale data solutions.
• Design and maintain data architecture for big data systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and design appropriate solutions.
• Optimize data storage and retrieval processes for efficiency and performance.
• Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance with data governance policies.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance data architecture and analytics capabilities.

What you'll need

• Bachelors in Business Analytics, Computer Science, or Statistics, or Masters in Data Science.
• Certified Data Management Professional (Riversand).
• Databricks Certified Associate Developer for Apache Spark 3.0 (Databricks Academy).
• Databricks Certified Associate Developer for Apache Spark (Databricks Academy).
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate (Microsoft).
• Oracle Database 12c Certified Implementation Specialist (Oracle).
• Required skills include Cloud Computing, Databricks Platform, Data Engineering, Agile Methodology, Change Management, Client Relations, Design Thinking, and Information Security, among others listed in the posting.
• English language proficiency, Proficient - C2 (Required).
