Data Engineer & Analyst

Overview

Data Engineer & Analyst role focused on building, scaling, and operating data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and delivering reporting and analytics for growth and commercial decisions.

What you'll do

• Monitor Daton pipeline alerts and track latency, freshness, and completeness.
• Investigate pipeline failures and perform root-cause analysis across pipeline, QC/validation, and source/API layers.
• Build and enhance data pipelines by adding integrations and implementing logic changes.
• Create automated QC checks and validate critical metrics daily against source UIs.
• Build and maintain dashboards and KPI trackers across multiple business functions.
• Analyze paid media and promotional performance, including experimentation and A/B testing support.
• Provide ad-hoc decision support by translating complex data into business-ready outputs.

What you'll need

• 4–6 years of experience spanning data engineering and analytics (or strong hybrid track record).
• Strong Google BigQuery expertise including SQL optimization, partitioning, and clustering.
• Advanced SQL skills such as window functions, CTEs, complex joins, and query optimization.
• Experience with ETL tools (Daton, Fivetran, or similar) and pipeline monitoring.
• Experience with dbt (or equivalent) for data transformation.
• Proficiency in at least one BI tool (Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Metabase, or similar).
• Ability to respond to incidents with P0 in 2 hours, P1 in 4 hours, and P2 in 24 hours on Singapore business days.
