Data Engineer II

Overview

Data Engineer II responsible for building and operating scalable batch and real-time data products, pipelines, services, and storage layers for pricing, marketing, analytics, and machine learning use cases.

What you'll do

• Design, build, test, and maintain scalable data pipelines, services, and storage layers.
• Translate business requirements into data system designs, APIs, and data models.
• Develop and optimize data ingestion, transformation, and serving workflows.
• Improve reliability, observability, data quality, performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Own deployment, monitoring, incident response, and ongoing improvement of data services.
• Integrate and operate AI/ML-enabled data solutions.

What you'll need

• 2+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience building and operating production data pipelines, services, or platforms.
• Experience owning data features through testing, deployment, monitoring, and production issue resolution.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language and its ecosystem.
• Experience with low-level system design, API design, and data modeling.

Nice to have

• Experience building scalable, fault-tolerant, and high-throughput data solutions.
• Experience improving platform availability, performance, reliability, or quality through observability and automation.
• Experience with AI/ML platforms, feature stores, or model-serving data flows in production.
• Experience across ingestion, transformation, storage, and data-serving APIs.
