Data Engineer II

Overview

Data Engineer II to support data management and deliver Test & Learn solutions for clients in the Services Technology/Data Delivery space.

What you'll do

• Support design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise ETL processes for data platforms.
• Assist data delivery with Data Engineers and Analysts for on-time, accurate data solutions across clients and industries.
• Use SQL and other database technologies to optimize data processing and improve scalability.
• Apply best practices for quality, including version control, code reviews, and data validation.
• Help automate routine data tasks via streamlined process design.
• Collaborate with peers and clients across local and global teams on multiple projects.

What you'll need

• BE/BTech in a quantitative field (ME/MTech preferred).
• Excellent English quantitative, technical, and communication skills.
• Experience as a Data Engineer or similar with data engineering concepts (data modeling and database design).
• Strong knowledge of writing and optimizing SQL queries.
• Experience with Relational Databases (hands-on Microsoft SQL Server and related technologies).
• Familiarity with ETL frameworks and building/maintaining data pipelines.
• Ability to test and validate data for accuracy and consistency.

Nice to have

• Experience with Databricks and Spark.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn emerging developer productivity tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot).
