Data Integration Developer, AVP

Overview

Lead the end-to-end development, delivery, implementation, support, and continuous improvement of Alpha Data Platform services and client data integration solutions.

What you'll do

• Design and support ETL pipelines, Snowflake solutions, CI/CD pipelines, and data quality frameworks.
• Troubleshoot code defects, data issues, performance bottlenecks, and production incidents.
• Optimize SQL queries and data loads for batch and real-time processing.
• Lead client implementations, production support, incident management, and service restoration.
• Manage software delivery across requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and stabilization.
• Lead and mentor Data Integration Developers through guidance, reviews, planning, and development support.
• Coordinate delivery priorities, risks, dependencies, resources, and stakeholder requirements.

What you'll need

• 12–15 years of experience in data integration, data engineering, ETL/ELT, or data orchestration.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in a technical field.
• Hands-on ETL experience with Talend Cloud Data Integration.
• Advanced SQL development, debugging, tuning, and optimization skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, Snowflake, database design, and performance optimization.
• Experience leading teams and delivering complex projects with end-to-end accountability.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum, CI/CD, DevOps, release management, and cloud-native data solutions.

Nice to have

• Financial services or investment management domain experience.
• Experience with Qlik Replicate, Qlik Compose, CDC, and data replication frameworks.
• Exposure to Bloomberg, Reuters, MSCI, FactSet, or rating-agency data providers.
• Prior State Street or Charles River Development experience.
