Data Platform Architect

Overview

Architect the data platform blueprint and implement the design, including the relevant data platform components, in close collaboration with Integration Architects and Data Architects.

What you'll do

• Architect the overall data platform blueprint and oversee its development so all components work seamlessly together.
• Lead the design and implementation of scalable data platform solutions that meet business requirements.
• Align system integrations and data models with Integration Architects and Data Architects.
• Provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams and contribute to key decisions.
• Facilitate communication and coordination among cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on data strategies.
• Evaluate platform performance and integration points to maintain a robust and efficient data environment.
• Mentor junior team members with guidance on architectural best practices.
• Act as an SME, collaborating with and managing the team to deliver.

What you'll need

• Minimum 12 years of experience in Snowflake Data Warehouse.
• Proficiency in Snowflake Data Warehouse.
• Strong knowledge of cloud-based data storage and processing technologies.
• Experience in designing data models and data integration strategies.
• Ability to optimize data platform performance and ensure data security.
• Familiarity with data governance and compliance standards.
• 15 years full time education.

Nice to have

• Experience with Machine Learning Operations.
