Staff Data Architect

Overview

Staff Data Architect responsible for enterprise data architecture across the full lifecycle of data moves, transformations, and value creation across product lines.

What you'll do

• Define the reference architecture for a universal semantic layer with unified metrics and healthcare entity definitions.
• Architect and govern a global Enterprise Ontology to support agentic AI systems.
• Prototype and iterate enterprise data schema and metadata layer blueprints in AI-native development environments.
• Embed security and regulatory compliance principles into platform design with audit readiness focus.
• Collaborate with leadership, product, and engineering to turn business requirements into scalable solutions.
• Communicate complex architecture concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

What you'll need

• 12+ years of deep data engineering experience in a Staff, Principal, or Architect capacity.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL, with ability to code and build rapid, validating PoCs.
• Mastery of multiple data modeling languages and paradigms (Relational, Dimensional, Data Vault 2.0, Graph/Ontological modeling).
• Deep understanding of healthcare interoperability standards (FHIR, HL7) and experience with HIPAA-compliant production platforms.
• Expertise in modern data platforms and AWS data services (S3, Glue, Athena, Redshift, Lake Formation).
• Knowledge of pipeline orchestration and transformation frameworks (dbt, Airflow).
