Data Platform Engineer

Overview

Data Platform Engineer role contributing to the data platform blueprint and design, working closely with Integration Architects and Data Architects to ensure cohesive integration between systems and data models.

What you'll do

• Contribute to the development and refinement of the data platform blueprint and design, ensuring all components align effectively.
• Collaborate with Integration Architects and Data Architects to maintain seamless integration across systems and data models.
• Act as an SME, collaborate with and manage the team to perform, and be responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for the immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead the implementation of best practices and standards within the data platform environment.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to enhance overall capabilities.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to align platform development with business objectives.
• Monitor and improve platform performance and reliability.

What you'll need

• Must have: proficiency in Microsoft Fabric.
• Minimum 7.5 years of experience in Microsoft Fabric.
• 15 years full time education.
• Experience in designing and implementing scalable data platform architectures.
• Strong understanding of data integration techniques and data modeling principles.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex data platform issues and provide effective solutions.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data services and platform management tools.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
