Overview

Data & Records Business Partner at Barclays to help implement data and records governance frameworks, translating business needs into actionable plans and ensuring DRM implementation.

What you'll do

• Partner with local business units to implement data & records governance frameworks.
• Provide guidance on records classification, retention, storage, retrieval, and disposal.
• Monitor local data quality and records metrics and identify improvement areas.
• Identify opportunities for data improvement and optimisation.
• Support business data priorities and embed data & records decisions into BAU and change programs.
• Lead and supervise a team responsible for operational processing and activities.

What you'll need

• In-depth technical knowledge and experience in assigned area of expertise.
• Thorough understanding of underlying principles and concepts in the area of expertise.
• Data & records governance, data controls, and data lineage methodologies.
• Understanding of data products, cloud, and data warehouses.
• Business domain experience (Retail or Banking) and regulatory reporting experience.
• Working in a regulated environment with data/control risk management understanding.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in data analytics and insight generation to derive actionable insights.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills for senior stakeholders.
