Data Sciences - Information and Data Architecture Mgr

Overview

Data Sciences (Information and Data Architecture) Manager/Senior Data Scientist role focused on building interconnected business information architecture, ontologies, and semantic models for pharmaceutical operations.

What you'll do

• Deliver connected data initiatives aligned to the Operations Data Strategy roadmap.
• Lead stakeholder discussions to define semantic models, aligned definitions, and relationships.
• Design, develop, and deploy a connected data ecosystem across Operations.
• Provide technical leadership for Python development, SQL transformations, SPARQL retrieval, and AI system design.
• Develop business information models and ontologies for industry concepts (including CMC, Clinical, and Operations data).
• Formalize data models in RDF using OWL and SHACL ontologies that interoperate with other standards (FHIR and IDMP).

What you'll need

• 8–12 years of experience with a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree (GCF Level 5A).
• Deep understanding of pharmaceutical industry data across Process Development, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations.
• Advanced semantic modeling skills using RDF/OWL/SHACL and ontology development tools (TopBraid and/or Protégé).
• Experience creating knowledge graphs with semantic RDF technologies (e.g., Stardog) and testing with real data.
• Strong facilitation skills using tools such as Lucidchart and Confluence.
• Expertise in FAIR data principles and their application in healthcare/pharmaceutical data models.
