Data Scientist (Classical ML/NLP + LLM)

Overview

Data Scientist role focused on classical ML/NLP and LLM/agentic AI solutions, converting diverse data into actionable insights and decision support.

What you'll do

• Partner with stakeholders to frame problems and define success metrics.
• Translate ambiguous questions into well-posed analytical problems.
• Develop and extend supervised, unsupervised, NLP, and generative/agentic AI methodologies.
• Apply LLMs and agentic systems to build RAG/agent workflows with evaluation and guardrails.
• Prototype and scale solutions from data cleaning and feature engineering through deployment.
• Communicate complex technical ideas in business terms to influence stakeholders.

What you'll need

• 3–6 years of applied ML/applied AI experience with hands-on production model building.
• Bachelor's or Master's (or PhD) in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, or related.
• Experience across supervised/unsupervised ML, optimization, recommendation systems, forecasting, and LLM/agentic systems/RAG.
• Experience owning solutions end-to-end from problem framing to productionization, monitoring, and iteration.
• Expert-level Python and comfort with NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, and PyTorch.
• Experience with distributed computing and cloud platforms (Spark/Snowflake/BigQuery; AWS/Azure/GCP).

Nice to have

• Experience with graph algorithms such as knowledge graphs, graph traversal, and community detection.
