Data Scientist II

Overview

Data Scientist II role in MiQ’s data science department in Bengaluru, focused on end-to-end data science delivery and applying analytics to support media campaigns and actionable insights.

What you'll do

• Own and execute end-to-end data science projects.
• Translate product requirements into analytical requirements and specifications.
• Design and develop required functionality within an internal tool.
• Automate daily operational activities using technology.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to activate media campaigns from analytical outputs.
• Deliver actionable insights using rich data plus client-specific data.

What you'll need

• Minimum of three years of experience working on data science projects.
• Experience applying machine learning, statistical pattern recognition, and data mining to prediction problems.
• Experience with at least one programming language: Java, Python, or R.
• Advanced SQL experience.
• Experience in big data ecosystems including Hive/Pig/MapReduce and Spark.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
