Data Steward - Quality Excellence

Overview

Data Steward (Quality Excellence) to drive data quality, governance, and operational excellence across multiple content domains.

What you'll do

• Establish and maintain data quality standards, business rules, metadata definitions, and taxonomy frameworks.
• Monitor dataset health and quality metrics to improve accuracy, completeness, consistency, and timeliness.
• Investigate recurring data-quality issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Develop and maintain quality dashboards, data dictionaries, governance documentation, and SOPs.
• Partner with product and engineering teams on requirements and data-quality/automation initiatives.
• Support complex customer escalations and drive cross-functional quality initiatives.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of experience in data governance, data quality, content operations, product operations, information management, or related.
• Demonstrated experience with root cause analysis and cross-functional process improvement.
• Experience working with structured and unstructured datasets.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate ambiguity and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent collaboration and communication across Operations, Product, Engineering, and Quality teams.
• Experience defining operational metrics, standards, processes, and documentation.

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification (preferred).
• Familiarity with SQL, BI tools, AI workflows, or metadata management (preferred).
