Overview
Senior Manager, Data Trust Data Governance who leads the organization’s data governance capability for audit-ready, regulatory-confident data management.
What you'll do
- Lead a team of 8–10 Data Governance Officers and drive a proactive governance culture.
- Oversee transition of governance activities from KPMG to an in-house model, ensuring continuity and stability.
- Act as primary contact for controls, audits, and risk, including governance status and remediation plans.
- Collaborate with Solidatus and Operations to embed governance requirements into data lineage and workflows.
- Develop and deliver an annual governance roadmap aligned to data management and analytics maturity goals.
- Identify governance gaps and risks, driving remediation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide concise governance updates to senior stakeholders for informed decision-making.
What you'll need
- 15–20 years of experience (as stated in the role details).
- 10–15 years’ experience in data analysis, governance, risk, compliance, and data management within regulated financial services.
- Proven track record leading large, multi-disciplinary teams (20+ members).
- Minimum 6 years of people-management experience including performance management and capability development.
- Demonstrated experience working with regulatory frameworks, audits, and control functions under regulatory scrutiny.
- Strong hands-on ability to review, validate, and challenge detailed governance work.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills to influence senior leaders and control partners.
