Database Administrator

Overview

Database Administrator responsible for supporting and maintaining database systems, including performance, security, high availability, and disaster recovery.

What you'll do

• Ensure high performance and uptime of database systems.
• Install, configure, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases.
• Optimize performance via query tuning, indexing, and configuration changes.
• Design and implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Manage database security using encryption, authentication, and RBAC.
• Write and optimize complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers.
• Automate database tasks using PowerShell and manage monitoring tools.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of experience as a database administrator.
• In-depth knowledge of SQL Server, T-SQL, and performance optimization techniques.
• Strong experience with high availability and disaster recovery technologies.
• Proficiency in database security, including encryption, access control, and auditing.
• Hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting and automation.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with developers, DevOps, and system administrators.

Details

• Location: Noida, Uttar Pradesh.
• On-call/off-hours support is required, including nights and weekends.
• Role involves onsite work.
