Delivery & Sales - Director

Overview

Lead software and product innovation efforts that shape client solutions, strengthen digital delivery, and support new business growth within the Advisory practice, based at PwC Acceleration Center Bangalore.

What you'll do

• Set strategic direction for software engineering and product innovation initiatives across client engagements
• Drive business growth by identifying market opportunities and translating them into software solutions and service offerings
• Lead executive client relationships and shape delivery approaches for complex technology programs
• Guide multi-project portfolios from concept through deployment using software project planning, lifecycle management, and architecture skills
• Develop application solutions with experience in programming languages, application frameworks, APIs, and microservices
• Oversee software design, coding standards, code review, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting activities
• Apply business requirements analysis, functional requirements, and requirements management to align solutions with client goals
• Promote cloud-enabled and mobile development approaches using CI/CD, quality assurance testing, and rapid experimentation
• Advance technical teams through coaching, feedback, and mentoring of emerging leaders
• Validate adherence to technical standards, code of conduct, and independence requirements while maintaining trust in deliverables

What you'll need

• At least a Bachelor's degree
• At least 16-20 years of experience
• Oral and written proficiency in English

Nice to have

• Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Artificial Intelligence, Business Analytics, Computer and Data Engineering, Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems/Technology, Machine Learning, Management Information Systems, Software Engineering
• Develop client-facing software delivery strategies across multiple engagements
• Lead business development discussions and shape growth opportunities
• Translate technology ideas into market-focused client solutions
• Mentor leaders and cultivate team capability across disciplines
• Balance strategic thinking, execution planning, and change leadership
• Adhere to professional standards, code of conduct, and independence requirements
