Demo Engineer

Overview

Demo Engineer responsible for creating, customising, and maintaining demo environments and assets that support pre-sales and other internal teams. The role owns workstreams end to end, generates platform insights, and collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders.

What you'll do

• Own demo engineering requests from scoping through final handoff.
• Build and customise demo environments for prospect use cases and industries.
• Manage Knowledge Graph data, connector and crawler configurations, and front-end customisation.
• Conduct Scout Reports, Knowledge Scans, and Analytics analysis to generate prospect insights.
• Assess digital presence using SEO practices and create pre-sales narratives.
• Prepare reports and materials for Solutions Engineers and contribute to scoping calls.
• Maintain Jira queues, Demo Library areas, documentation, and team standards.

What you'll need

• At least 2 years of experience in demo engineering, solutions engineering, pre-sales delivery, or a client-facing technical role.
• A degree or equivalent practical experience in Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of HTML and CSS for front-end customisation.
• Familiarity with AI tools including LLMs and agents.
• Understanding of SEO best practices and digital presence concepts.
• Clear communication and the ability to manage multiple concurrent deliverables.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and contribute to process improvements.

Nice to have

• Experience with Yext or a comparable brand visibility, listings management, or AI search platform.
• Working knowledge of JavaScript or broader front-end development.
• Experience with RFP responses, pre-sales collateral, or revenue-enabling deliverables.
• Experience mentoring or supporting junior technical or delivery colleagues.
