Job description

Overview

Design Engineer responsible for completing and coordinating design work for special/custom products, from initial project involvement through technical drawings, approvals, and manufacturing release.

What you'll do

  • Participate in initial project meetings.
  • Provide technical support to the Sales team for modified/customized orders.
  • Create and verify technical drawings from project, aligned with design-for-manufacturing and plant capabilities.
  • Coordinate engineering activities for orders logged under Engineering.
  • Plan, execute, and report complete design deliverables for assigned projects according to timelines and budgets.
  • Review designs for quality before release to manufacturing and verify customer requirements before manufacturing release.
  • Support RFQ team for estimation of customized orders.

What you'll need

  • Technical university graduation (e.g., TCM, Mechanics, Mecatronics).
  • Good knowledge of SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
  • Parametric CAD software knowledge is an advantage (e.g., Catia, Inventor, ProE, SolidEdge).
  • English at least medium level and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to understand technical drawings and analyze processes to estimate cost.
  • ERP system knowledge is optional.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with production, sales, and back office teams.
