Designer - Men's Knits

Overview

Designer for men’s knitwear, responsible for end-to-end design and development of seasonal knit collections. The role collaborates with cross-functional teams and external partners to create product concepts, technical details, and production-ready solutions.

What you'll do

• Design and develop seasonal knitwear collections across multiple men’s knit categories.
• Research fashion, consumer insights, competitor assortments, and emerging design trends.
• Create design concepts, technical sketches, specifications, and artwork for development.
• Partner with Raw Materials, Product Development, and Sourcing to identify fabrics, yarns, trims, finishes, and techniques.
• Collaborate with mills, suppliers, and manufacturing partners to co-create knit structures and fabric innovations.
• Coordinate with Merchandising, Technical Design, and Product Development on viability, quality, and feasibility.
• Conduct sample reviews and provide feedback on fit, aesthetics, construction, and execution.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or related discipline from NIFT, Pearl Academy, or equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience in Men’s Knitwear Design.
• Experience designing across flat knit and circular knit categories.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with PLM systems and CLO 3D is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively across Design, Merchandising, Product Development, Sourcing, Technical Design, and vendor partners.
