Designer - Senior Designer - Civil 3D

Overview

Senior Designer role focused on Civil 3D utility modeling for underground networks and supporting engineering and regulatory documentation.

What you'll do

• Develop detailed 3D models for underground utility networks using Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Model wet and dry utilities including storm drainage, sanitary sewers, water distribution, gas, and telecom.
• Create plan, profile, and cross-section drawings for construction and regulatory approvals.
• Run clash detection and resolve conflicts using tools like Navisworks.
• Collaborate with engineers and project teams to reflect existing and proposed conditions.
• Maintain model integrity and ensure as-built conditions are accurately reflected.

What you'll need

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Civil Technology, or a related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in Civil 3D utility modeling.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Navisworks.
• Experience with ACC, BIM 360, or ProjectWise.
• Strong understanding of municipal infrastructure standards and construction documentation.
