Developer, Business Process Automation

Overview

Automation Developer for low-code intelligent automation solutions in Edwards’ IT Innovation Hub in Pune.

What you'll do

• Develop end-to-end automations using approved low-code tools such as Power Automate/Power Apps and UiPath.
• Work with business stakeholders to translate process requirements into automation designs.
• Build and maintain integrations using platform connectors, APIs, and data services.
• Implement exception handling, logging, notifications, retries, and monitoring for automation stability.
• Create reusable components such as templates, child flows, libraries, and solution packages.
• Perform testing and peer reviews, support UAT, and resolve defects to meet release quality targets.
• Provide production support including incident triage and root-cause analysis.

What you'll need

• 5+ years developing and supporting automation solutions using low-code platforms (e.g., Microsoft Power Platform or UiPath).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience translating business requirements into solution designs in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Hands-on experience with connectors/integrations (REST APIs/HTTP/webhooks) and data sources (Dataverse/SQL/SharePoint/SAP/ServiceNow or similar).
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Power Platform PL-100/PL-200/PL-400/PL-500 and/or UiPath) are preferred.
• Knowledge of platform governance and ALM concepts such as environments, solutions, connection references, and DLP policies.
• Experience across the SDLC including analysis, development, QA/UAT support, deployment, and post go-live support.

Nice to have

• DevOps/ALM and source control practices (e.g., pipelines and Git) for automation assets.
• Experience building enterprise-grade solutions using Power Platform (custom connectors/Power Fx/plugins) and/or UiPath (REFramework/Orchestrator).
• Exposure to intelligent automation capabilities such as document processing (OCR/IDP), process mining, and/or AI-assisted automation.
• 2 years of relevant industry experience (e.g., medical device/pharmaceuticals) or in highly regulated environments.
