Developer Engagement Representative - Malaysia (Part-Time Contract)

Overview

Support Roblox’s international developer engagement efforts in Malaysia by growing creator communities, building partnerships, and running programs and events.

What you'll do

• Learn and apply Roblox moderation rules and guidelines.
• Identify and engage potential developer-community partners.
• Plan and execute online and offline community events and workshops.
• Manage programs from concept through completion.
• Set goals, track milestones, and measure program outcomes.
• Support translation and localization for programs, communications, and resources.
• Improve team workflows while following established processes.

What you'll need

• Strong understanding of Roblox and its community.
• Good standing in Roblox moderation history.
• Fluency in English and Malay.
• Excellent speaking, writing, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work cross-functionally.
• Knowledge of community processes, methodologies, and best practices.
• Physical location in Malaysia.

Nice to have

• Experience with gaming communities, game jams, or virtual or hybrid event planning.
• Early-career or recent-graduate background.
