Overview
Lead technical and delivery leadership for clinical analytical reporting, data-review technology, and data-product capabilities across Global Development.
What you'll do
- Lead end-to-end design, development, and support of clinical reports, dashboards, visualizations, and advanced data-review tools.
- Define technical approaches, architectures, data flows, reusable components, standards, and testing strategies.
- Cure, integrate, and transform EDC and approved external clinical data into trusted, analysis-ready datasets with lineage and quality controls.
- Develop anomaly detection, pattern recognition, automation, and advanced analytics approaches with validated, interpretable outputs.
- Provide hands-on expertise using tools such as SAS, SQL, Python, R, Databricks, Power BI, Spotfire, and Tableau.
- Translate review needs into requirements, solution designs, and prioritized delivery plans; manage dependencies and risks.
- Establish risk-based quality controls and governance for data preparation, programming, testing, release, and maintenance.
What you'll need
- 10+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree (or 8+ years with a Master’s, or 5+ years with a Doctorate).
- Demonstrated experience designing and delivering clinical reports, dashboards, visualizations, analytical datasets, or data-review solutions.
- Enterprise visualization platform experience (preferred) and advanced SQL (preferred).
- Demonstrated proficiency with at least one programming language such as Python, SAS, or R (preferred).
- Experience with EDC, external clinical data, CDISC standards, data lineage, metadata-driven development, and regulated-system validation (preferred).
- Experience applying statistical, anomaly-detection, machine-learning, or automation methods to clinical data with validation and human oversight (preferred).
- Technical leadership across cross-functional initiatives, including design authority and mentoring (preferred).
