DevOps Engineer

Overview

As a DevOps Engineer, you will design and set up new development tools and infrastructure, building and testing end-to-end CI/CD pipelines that keep systems secure against threats.

What you'll do

• Design and implement new development tools and infrastructure to support software development processes.
• Set up and maintain continuous integration, delivery, and deployment pipelines.
• Monitor, test and optimize the performance of CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure systems are safe against security threats.
• Collaborate and manage the team to perform, and take responsibility for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities.
• Troubleshoot issues that arise in environments and pipelines.

What you'll need

• Minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps.
• 15 years full time education.
• Must have: Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in DevOps, EKS, Helm Charts, Ansible, Terraform and Docker.
• Experience and skills in setting up infrastructure on AWS cloud with EKS and Helm charts.
• Proficiency in developing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins/GitHub or other CI/CD tools.
• Ability to debug and fix issues in environment setup and in CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge and experience automating infrastructure and application setup using Ansible and Terraform.

Nice to have

• Good to have: Ansible on Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment tools.
• Strong understanding of cloud services and infrastructure management.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as OpenShift or other containerization technical skills.
• Experience in scripting languages for automation and configuration management.
