DevOps Engineer

Overview

DevOps Engineer role supporting the Data Science Business Line, based in Mumbai. You will help develop SaaS products and support data-focused client and internal projects.

What you'll do

• Participate in consulting assignments with clients.
• Develop Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) products from Heka.ai.
• Support Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and Software Engineers on data-centric projects.
• Design cloud services including architecture, storage, and computing.
• Manage costs monitoring and optimization for cloud services.
• Handle containerization, orchestration, and K8 cluster management for data workloads.
• Implement CI/CD integration and continuous deployment.

What you'll need

• 4+ years of relevant DevOps Engineering experience.
• Mastery of Python for back-end projects.
• Mastery of a containerization solution such as Docker.
• Experience with at least one container orchestration tool.
• Experience with cloud provider services (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform as an example is mentioned as a plus).

Nice to have

• Another programming language for back-end projects.
• Knowledge of IaC tools such as Terraform.
• Mastery of CI/CD techniques and tools including pipeline automation, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Fluency in English (written and oral) is listed.
