Dir, Team Specialist, P3, Change, Analytics & Strategy : Job Level - Director

Overview

Director-level Team Specialist in Client Onboarding Reg & Data Services, performing Client Due Diligence reviews for new client onboarding and existing client regular reviews under applicable regulatory program requirements, within Change, Analytics & Strategy.

What you'll do

• Serve as a subject matter expert within the functional area, working with the Team Manager to manage processes, risks and/or projects, proposing and implementing improvements or changes.
• Act as key problem solver for the area of expertise, applying detailed knowledge to address unique or novel situations, recognizing risks and drawing out key issues.
• Coordinate work, train and develop other team members where required, including task allocation and project contribution.
• Perform Client Due Diligence review for new client onboarding and existing client regular review in accordance with applicable regulatory program requirements (such as UK, Germany, Dubai, US, Hong Kong, Singapore KYC requirements and applicable eligibility standards).
• Update Firm systems and databases with information and documentation obtained from clients.
• Handle inquiries and ad hoc requests from internal clients, including Compliance where required.
• Actively engage with business, client onboarding teams, Compliance and Operations throughout the life cycle of the review, from receipt of a request to completion of the review.
• Handle volume spikes and prioritize work, including ad hoc requests and projects, to meet business demands in a timely manner.
• Understand and implement responses to changes such as regulatory changes and internal policy and procedural changes.

• Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the functional area and the operational/compliance policies and procedures of the team.
• Ability to operate independently across the majority of day-to-day responsibilities.

• Strong attention to detail and research/investigative skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with Business Units, Compliance and global colleagues (Hong Kong, Budapest, London, Tokyo, New York, Bangalore) and build effective working relationships.
• Ability to work independently, meet business deadlines with accuracy, and handle troubleshooting to mitigate risks.
• At least 7 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role.
