Director, AI Engineer

Overview

As an Associate Director, AI Engineer, you will design and deliver multi-agent systems and client-facing AI products. The role combines architectural decision-making with hands-on Python development and collaboration with distributed engineering and data science teams.

What you'll do

• Design and build multi-agent systems using LLM orchestration frameworks.
• Implement reliable, maintainable AI orchestration workflows for clients.
• Build agentic interfaces for data science models such as forecasting and incrementality.
• Configure Genie spaces for client data exploration and self-service analytics.
• Develop reusable agent components, prompt templates, and tool-use libraries.
• Evaluate LLM providers based on capability, cost, and latency.
• Write production-grade Python with observability, CI/CD, and deployment automation.

What you'll need

• At least 5 years of software engineering experience.
• Strong Python development skills.
• At least 2 years of hands-on LLM experience.
• Experience with an agent orchestration framework such as LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, or CrewAI.
• Strong system design skills, including API architecture and distributed systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms and container orchestration.
• Familiarity with vector databases, embeddings, and large-scale RAG systems.

Nice to have

• Experience with Databricks or Genie.
• Experience in media, advertising, or marketing technology.
• Experience with MLOps and production model lifecycle management.
• Experience building conversational AI or copilot products.
• Open-source contributions related to agentic AI.

• Full-time, permanent position.
• Annual salary: $94,000–$152,662.
