Job description

Overview

Ontic is hiring a Director of Product Operations within its centralized Revenue Operations organization. This individual contributor role sits between Product, GTM and RevOps, translating product needs and outcomes into GTM processes and GTM insights into product prioritization.

What you'll do

  • Partner with R&D to design and maintain product usage dashboards, keeping client usage data accurate and actionable for CS, Sales and Product.
  • Identify usage-based expansion and whitespace signals and operationalize them into CS/Sales workflows.
  • Prepare regular reporting and presentations on business results and key trends, including product-level ARR analysis, consumption, churn and renewal rate.
  • Serve as platform administrator for product usage analytics tools (e.g., Pendo), managing vendor relations, renewals, licensing and legal/PII compliance reviews.
  • Define and govern the framework for product tagging with Product leadership to ensure consistent usage data capture.
  • Provide closed-loop feedback to R&D on GTM-led data signals such as ARR, pipeline, client feedback and churn.
  • Act as a trusted business partner to Product leadership.
  • Enable tracking and measurement of roadmap ROI, including ARR coverage and feature adoption curves.
  • Collaborate with leadership to set and monitor product-specific revenue targets based on historical trends and expansion analysis.
  • Build a structured process for capturing and synthesizing field feedback (win/loss, CS escalations, sales objections, support tickets) into prioritized input for Product.
  • Build peer support and inter-company relationships with other key leaders and partner on projects and initiatives.
  • Establish and evolve key business processes and cross-functional handoffs, translating initiatives into actionable solutions that fit existing infrastructure.
  • Partner with Ops and Enablement to ensure the field has the technical tools and just-in-time insights needed for execution.
  • Maintain and evolve alignment between JIRA and GTM-facing tools and data so engineering efforts link to revenue outcomes.
  • Establish tracking and reporting for feature requests and roadmap commitments made to clients and prospects, ensuring a single source of truth across Product and GTM teams.

What you'll need

  • Experience in Product Operations, Revenue Operations, Sales/CS Operations or Product Management, with at least 2 years in a leadership or own-the-function individual contributor capacity.
  • A mature understanding of GTM and client-facing SaaS strategies, with experience translating them into system and process requirements.
  • Ability to act as connective tissue between Product and GTM teams and translate fluently in both directions.
  • Experience at a growth-stage B2B SaaS company, comfortable with ambiguity and resourcing constraints.
  • Track record of building processes from scratch.
  • Proven experience leveraging GTM technology and product analytics tools; current stack includes Salesforce, Snowflake, Omni, Claude, ChatGPT, JIRA, Confluence and Pendo.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience as a strategic business partner.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

Details

  • Remote, United States.
  • Benefits include competitive salary, medical, vision and dental coverage, 401k, stock options, HSA contribution, learning stipend, flexible PTO, quarterly ME days, parental leave, home office stipend, mobile phone reimbursement and home internet reimbursement for remote employees.
