Job description

Overview

Lead the strategy, operations, governance, and continuous evolution of insightsoftware's global multi-brand web ecosystem. This is a strategic leadership and operational management role focused on directing teams, establishing scalable processes, and overseeing execution rather than hands-on development work. Reports to the VP, Digital Marketing.

What you'll do

  • Lead the strategy, operations, and continuous evolution of insightsoftware's multi-brand web ecosystem, overseeing UX/UI design, web development, CMS operations, publishing workflows, and website infrastructure.
  • Direct web platform strategy and technical roadmaps, including modern architecture (Storyblok, Astro, Vercel), infrastructure enhancements, integrations, and long-term scalability.
  • Establish governance, standards, and scalable processes that ensure consistent, accessible, secure, high-performing digital experiences while improving operational efficiency through automation and reusable capabilities.
  • Guide teams in delivering user-centered experiences that balance brand consistency with the needs of individual products, audiences, and business units.
  • Partner with Discoverability Optimization, MarTech & Analytics, Demand Generation, and CRO stakeholders to incorporate SEO/AEO, analytics, experimentation, personalization, and conversion optimization requirements into web priorities and execution.
  • Oversee website performance and continuous improvement, ensuring accountability for usability, accessibility, reliability, technical performance, and operational effectiveness.
  • Direct Web Experience planning and execution for major transformation initiatives, including website migrations, platform consolidations, rebrands, and acquisition integrations, ensuring effective cross-functional coordination, quality assurance, and post-launch stabilization.

What you'll need

  • Proven experience leading enterprise web operations, web development, or digital experience teams within a complex organization.
  • Strong understanding of modern website ecosystems, CMS platforms, web infrastructure, UX/UI design, technical SEO, CRO, and digital experience best practices.
  • Experience overseeing modern CMS and headless CMS environments such as Storyblok, Contentful, WordPress, or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with modern web frameworks and architectures such as Astro, React, and related technologies, as well as cloud hosting and deployment platforms such as Vercel.
  • Strong operational leadership skills with demonstrated success managing multiple concurrent initiatives, stakeholders, and priorities.
  • Experience establishing scalable operating models, intake processes, governance frameworks, resource planning, and delivery workflows.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams spanning web development, UX/UI design, CMS operations, and web production.
  • Strong understanding of UX/UI principles, design systems, accessibility standards, responsive design, and website usability.
  • Experience managing external development agencies, vendors, contractors, and distributed technical resources.
  • Ability to translate business priorities into actionable technical roadmaps, operational plans, and digital experience improvements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to use data to guide prioritization and operational decisions.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to balance strategic planning with operational execution in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • 7+ years of experience in website operations, web development, digital platforms, or digital experience functions.
  • 5+ years of people leadership and team management experience.
  • Demonstrated experience leading enterprise-level or multi-brand website ecosystems.
  • Experience overseeing multidisciplinary teams, including web development, UX/UI design, and CMS operations.
  • Experience supporting large-scale website migrations, platform consolidations, or digital transformation initiatives.
  • Experience building and managing scalable operational processes, governance models, and cross-functional delivery frameworks.
  • Experience collaborating with SEO/AEO, CRO, analytics, and paid digital marketing teams.
  • Experience managing agency, vendor, and external technical partner relationships.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with enterprise marketing technology ecosystems, including Salesforce, Pardot, Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and attribution/reporting platforms.
  • Experience using automation and AI-enabled workflows to improve website operations, publishing efficiency, and scalability.
  • Working knowledge of technical SEO, AEO, website performance optimization, experimentation, and personalization.
  • Bachelor's degree in Digital Marketing, Information Systems, Web Technologies, Business, or a related field.

Details

  • Location: USA, remote.
  • Salary range: 160,000.00 to 201,000.00 USD annual, base salary only; additional bonus eligibility may apply.
  • Background checks are required where permitted.
