Discipline Engineer

Overview

Discipline Engineer role responsible for performing and validating FEA simulation work in automotive mechanical domains.

What you'll do

• Run FEA simulations.
• Troubleshoot simulation convergence issues.
• Post-process results and interpret findings.
• Validate mechanical designs against test results and propose design modifications.
• Support methodology development and benchmarking of simulation tools.
• Plan, track, and update customer status; document and share best practices.
• Support technical coaching and guidance for junior engineers.

What you'll need

• 1–3 years of professional experience in FEA analysis using Ansys Workbench.
• Good theoretical knowledge of Mechanical fundamentals: SOM, Dynamics, and Fatigue.
• Experience with nonlinear simulations.
• Experience with vibration simulations (Modal, Harmonic, PSD, Transient).
• Experience with optimization.
• Ability to understand automotive systems.
• Good written and verbal communication and problem-solving skills.
