Mechanical Engineer role in a global product development team working on next-generation tire design, development, and validation.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, validate, and implement innovative tire products.
- Apply engineering principles, data analytics, simulation, and predictive methods to optimize product performance.
- Collaborate with global cross-functional teams across the product development lifecycle.
- Use CAD, FEA, PLM, and engineering tools to solve technical challenges and support data-driven decisions.
- Ensure quality, reliability, and manufacturability from concept to production.
- Drive continuous improvement by adopting new technologies and improving engineering processes.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline.
- 1–2 years of experience in product development, mechanical design, manufacturing, simulation, or related engineering fields.
- Knowledge of mechanical design and product development principles.
- Advantage: familiarity with CAD and FEA tools (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks, ANSYS, Abaqus).
- Desirable: exposure to engineering analysis and statistical tools (e.g., Minitab, JMP) or basic programming.
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Good written and spoken English.
