Overview
The Financial Analyst supports the DS International Office Finance Manager with financial planning, reporting, compliance, and transformation activities across the DS International Regional Office organization.
What you'll do
- Support the preparation and consolidation of actuals, forecasts, Long-Term Plans (LT), Business Plans (BP), Flash reporting, and Budget versus Actual (BVA) analyses.
- Prepare recurring financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for management reviews and business discussions.
- Analyze financial performance and identify key trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Assist in the coordination of Monthly Business Reviews and planning cycles.
- Maintain financial models and reporting tools to support decision-making.
- Support financial management of DS International Office activities and ensure financial information is accurately reflected within company systems.
- Assist with balance sheet reviews, accruals, reconciliations, and financial controls activities.
- Support compliance, statutory, tax, and audit requirements through data collection and documentation.
- Help maintain strong internal control processes and ensure adherence to company policies.
- Support the AK19 equity clearing process by coordinating data collection, analysis, and reconciliation activities.
- Assist in ensuring costs are allocated appropriately across sourcing entities.
- Contribute to process improvements as the organization transitions to new planning and reporting systems.
- Support Reporting Transformation & Standardization initiatives.
- Assist with process documentation, testing, training, and implementation activities.
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency, standardization, and automation.
- Support the development of dashboards and performance reporting tools.
- Participate in finance transformation projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Partner with colleagues across FP&A, Global Services, Tax, and Regional Finance teams to gather information and support analysis.
- Provide timely and accurate financial information to support decision-making.
- Proactively escalate risks, issues, and data quality concerns.
- Build strong collaborative relationships across the finance organization.
- Take ownership of assigned deliverables and continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and reporting.
- Actively participate in team meetings, planning discussions, and transformation initiatives.
- Demonstrate a growth mindset and commitment to continuous learning.
- Support onboarding and knowledge-sharing activities within the team when required.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2-4 years of finance, accounting, FP&A, business partnering, or related finance experience.
- Experience supporting financial planning, reporting, and analysis activities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a dynamic environment.

Nice to have
- Master's degree or progress toward a professional finance qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent).
- Experience within Johnson & Johnson, MedTech, or a multinational organization.
- Exposure to finance transformation, process improvement, or system implementation activities.
- Familiarity with SAP, Anaplan, CFIN, Power BI, or similar finance and reporting tools.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial controls.
